MS Infrastructure and Collaboration SME

About the role

Ericsson is seeking an experienced MS Infrastructure & Collaboration SME to join its IT Operations team in Dubai. The role centres on deep, hands‑on administration of Microsoft Exchange Server on‑premises, complemented by exposure to Exchange Online, hybrid configurations, Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L3/SME support for Exchange on‑premises, including DAG architecture, certificate lifecycle, transport services and mail‑flow troubleshooting.
• Manage Exchange Hybrid configurations linking on‑premises Exchange with Exchange Online.
• Support AD DS services (DNS, Group Policy, authentication, replication) and ensure health of Exchange‑dependent services.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID and Azure AD Connect for hybrid identity management.
• Lead incident resolution, root‑cause analysis and recovery for Exchange outages, DAG failovers and certificate issues.
• Maintain and patch supporting platforms such as Windows Server, SCCM/MECM, SCOM, SharePoint, Intune, Enterprise Vault and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Develop PowerShell automation for Exchange and AD operational tasks and keep SOPs/runbooks up to date.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of production‑level experience administering Microsoft Exchange Server on‑premises in a large enterprise.
• Proven expertise with Exchange DAGs, certificate management, transport services, and hybrid configurations.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy and replication.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Azure AD Connect.
• Hands‑on Windows Server administration and PowerShell scripting.
