MT5 Manager

About the role

Monolith Private Wealth Limited is looking for an experienced MT5 Manager in Dubai to own the day-to-day administration, configuration and integrity of its MetaTrader 5 environment and to maintain and develop its in-house Order Management System (OMS). This is a newly created role, as the firm brings MT5 and OMS support in-house from its current outsourced provider. The role is split roughly 50% platform administration and 50% development, reports to the CEO and acts as the technical escalation point for Customer Support on client trading activity.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the MT5 Manager and Administrator terminals, including server configuration, symbols, groups, trading sessions, swaps, margin settings and commissions
• Create and maintain client account groups and trading conditions in line with approved product and risk parameters
• Monitor platform performance, uptime and connectivity with liquidity providers, the PrimeXM bridge and price feeds
• Manage platform upgrades, patches and coordination with MetaQuotes and third-party vendors
• Maintain plugins, gateways, data feeds, reporting tools and user access rights
• Maintain, troubleshoot and enhance the OMS, ensure accurate order routing, execution and trade booking, and lead the transition of MT5 and OMS support to an in-house function
• Develop new features and integrations (MT5 Manager API, Server API, bridges, back-office and CRM systems) and ensure reconciliation between MT5, the OMS, liquidity providers and back office
• Act as second-line support for Customer Support on trade queries, investigate trade disputes and train Customer Support staff
• Support Risk and Dealing with exposure monitoring and abnormal trading detection, and produce regular reports for management, finance, risk and compliance

Required profile

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience administering MT5 (MT4 also beneficial) at a broker or trading firm
• Proven experience maintaining or developing an OMS or trade execution infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with liquidity bridges, ideally PrimeXM
• Analytical, methodical and detail-oriented, able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues
• Fluent English; additional languages an advantage

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MT5 Manager API and/or Server API
• Programming in C++, C# and/or Python; MQL5 is a plus
• Solid SQL and database skills
• Understanding of FIX protocol, Linux/Windows servers and networking basics
• Knowledge of FX and CFD products, A-Book/B-Book/hybrid execution models, margin and leverage mechanics
