Murex Front Office Support Consultant – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Murex Front Office Support Consultant will join the GM IT FO Squad, providing IT services and trading‑floor support to the Global Markets team in Abu Dhabi or a willing relocation location.

Key responsibilities

• Provide level 1/2 support to traders and middle‑office users, handling PL/position mismatches, market data and operations issues.
• Configure and maintain curves, static data, securities, generators, indices, vol surfaces, portfolios, user groups and access rights in Murex.
• Write and amend pre‑trade rules, lookup tables, simulation views, e‑tradepad strategies and Live Book views.
• Test and support patch and version upgrades, ensuring PL/Greeks consistency and avoiding regressions.
• Report progress on issues and show‑stoppers to managers and stakeholders.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in Murex front‑office support.
• Strong knowledge of interest‑rate curve setup, validation and ARRs.
• Expertise in at least two asset classes, one of which must be exotic derivatives.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Murex FO modules: E‑Tradepad, Simulation, Livebook, RTPM, Pre‑Trade Workflow, Market Data, Dynamic Tables, P&L Notepad, FDI Templates, Blotters, Risk Matrices.
• Implementation and support of Murex v3.1 front‑office capabilities.
• Capital markets product knowledge (pricing, risk, limit checks, booking, settlements).
• SQL and Python (nice to have).
