MYP/DP French Teacher – August Start

About the role

GEMS World Academy‑Dubai is seeking an innovative French teacher to deliver the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) from August 2026. You will join a vibrant, multicultural community committed to the IB Learner Profile and the development of inquisitive, reflective learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess French language instruction for MYP and DP students.
• Develop curriculum resources aligned with the IB framework and the school’s academic standards.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve language proficiency.
• Collaborate with department colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary projects.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives that promote the IB philosophy and learner profile.

Required profile

• Proven track record of effective teaching and student success.
• Experience with IB MYP and/or DP preferred, though strong teachers from other curricula are welcome.
• Commitment to the IB Learner Profile values and an inclusive, student‑centred approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, international environment.
