National Identity & Community Outreach Officer

About the role

The National Identity & Community Outreach Officer will champion the integration of UAE national identity, heritage and values throughout Bateen World Academy. Reporting to senior leadership, the officer will design and deliver outreach programmes that connect the school with parents, local authorities and community partners, ensuring cultural initiatives align with regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the promotion of UAE national identity, heritage and values across all school activities.
• Develop, coordinate and implement structured outreach programmes for parents, government bodies and community organisations.
• Serve as the primary liaison for community‑related initiatives and government‑led programmes.
• Plan and execute national events such as National Day, Flag Day and Commemoration Day.
• Embed Emirati cultural elements into curriculum and extracurricular programmes.
• Monitor compliance indicators, prepare reports and ensure alignment with ADEK/MoE regulations.
• Build and maintain partnerships with local government entities, NGOs and community groups.
• Organise volunteering and community service projects and facilitate parent and student participation.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in community outreach, cultural programming or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of UAE national identity, heritage and related regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent collaboration and coaching abilities, aligned with the school’s core values of excellence, respect, creativity and passion.
• Proven ability to build effective partnerships with government, NGOs and community stakeholders.
• Effective communication and reporting skills.
