National Talent Manager - Emiratisation

About the role

Emirates Group is hiring a National Talent Manager in Dubai to lead the career enablement strategy for UAE Nationals (UAEN) within an assigned division. The role aligns with the Emiratisation strategy, supports smooth transitions after training, and drives engagement and retention of established UAEN employees. It works closely with the Emiratisation team, HR Business Partners, Learning & Talent and business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between the Emiratisation strategy team and the business, turning strategy into career enablement support for UAEN employees across functions.
• Oversee trainee transitions into full-time roles and provide ongoing career advocacy and guidance.
• Maintain career profiles of UAENs to support internal mobility and share insights with HRBPs and Learning & Talent.
• Provide data-driven insights on career progression, engagement, retention risks and advocacy feedback to Emiratisation, Learning & Talent, HRBPs and HR COEs.
• Work with Learning & Talent, Recruitment and HRBPs to turn UAEN career needs into capability-building programmes.
• Build relationships with line managers and business leaders to champion UAEN talent.
• Lead, coach and support National Talent Partners in delivering tailored career enablement to their UAEN portfolios.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of HR experience.
• Experience in talent management, career counselling or a related HR specialism.
• Knowledge of the UAE Emiratisation agenda.
• Experience designing, implementing or supporting people development initiatives such as mentoring, coaching, career counselling or succession planning.
• Experience delivering HR change initiatives, supported by strong influencing skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with senior management.

An advantage is experience in a GCC or international organisation with local and expatriate staff, and proven leadership of HR change management programmes.
