Network Optimization Officer

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking a Network Optimization Officer to join its Revenue Management team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on applying analytical and data‑mining techniques to identify revenue‑maximising opportunities across the airline’s route network.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Network Optimization and Revenue Management teams by analysing network capacity changes and measuring revenue impact.
• Develop, document and execute optimisation actions, summarising results through visualisations and insight reports.
• Review constrained and unconstrained demand data, propose capacity shifts and monitor new frequency or route builds.
• Coordinate internally to capture capacity restrictions and ensure timely updates to RMS.
• Maintain documentation of ad‑hoc and structural network changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a numerate, analytical environment; airline industry experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with experience in business analysis techniques such as segmentation, regression, clustering, forecasting or web analytics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Hands‑on experience with at least two of the following query/analysis tools: SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau.
