Network & Security Engineer

About the role

Diversified LLC is looking for a mid-level to senior network engineer to design, deploy and maintain secure network and firewall architectures for enterprise and SME clients across the UAE. The role covers routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi, monitoring and network optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement LAN/WAN architectures, VLANs and routing policies.
• Configure and maintain firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, etc.) and VPN services.
• Deploy and support wireless networks (Aruba/HPE, Cisco Meraki) and access points.
• Monitor network performance and security with NMS/SIEM tools and respond to incidents.
• Troubleshoot production networks and perform root cause analysis.
• Assist in capacity planning and documentation for client projects.
• Work with project teams on implementation, cabling coordination and commissioning.
• Provide technical support and escalation for critical incidents, including on-call duty if required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking and security.
• 4+ years in enterprise networking or service provider environments; prior UAE or GCC project experience preferred.
• Valid CCNA or CCNP; CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE 4+ or Palo Alto PCNSE preferred.
• Excellent English; Arabic is a plus. UAE driving licence preferred.

Required skills

• Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switching (STP, VLANs) and network design.
• Firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN and network monitoring tools.
• Wireless deployments, cabling standards and IP addressing.
• Basic scripting (Python, Bash) for automation is an advantage.
