Network & Security Officer (UAE Nationals)

About the role

The Officer, Network & Security (UAEN) supports the management, configuration, and maintenance of PureCS's network infrastructure and security systems, ensuring secure, efficient, and reliable operations across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, and maintain network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Administer network security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Monitor network traffic and performance, escalating issues when required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and security‑related incidents.
• Support implementation and enforcement of network security policies and procedures.
• Maintain and update network and security documentation, including diagrams and configurations.
• Assist with patch management and deployment of security updates.
• Generate reports on network performance, security incidents, and infrastructure health.
• Support ITIL processes including change, incident, and problem management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in network and/or IT security administration.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and common network devices.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint security technologies.
• Entry‑level certifications preferred (CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent).
• Additional certifications in firewall security (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet NSE) and ITIL are advantageous.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work collaboratively.
