Senior Network Security Engineer (CCIE)

About the role

Our client, a leading technology and networking solutions provider, is looking for a senior, customer‑facing engineer to lead complex service‑provider and data‑centre transformation projects. The role covers architecture, design, implementation, migration and optimisation of large‑scale enterprise and service‑provider networks, with a focus on Cisco ACI, routing and security technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, implementation, migration and optimisation of Service Provider, Data Centre, WAN, Security and SAN network environments.
• Produce high‑quality technical documentation such as HLDs, LLDs, BoQs, migration plans and operational procedures.
• Provide technical leadership across Cisco ACI, Nexus, ASR, MPLS, Segment Routing, EVPN/VXLAN and security automation projects.
• Drive troubleshooting, performance optimisation, incident resolution, root‑cause analysis and crisis management across multi‑technology environments.
• Collaborate with project managers, manage technical risks, mentor engineers and ensure adherence to delivery methodologies.

Required profile

• CCIE certification with 12+ years of experience in professional services, service‑provider networks and data‑centre networking.
• Strong expertise in Cisco ACI (Multi‑Pod/Multi‑Site), Nexus 9000, Nexus Dashboard, ASR1000/ASR9000, IOS XR, IOS XE, MPLS, Segment Routing, BGP, OSPF, IS‑IS and Cisco MDS SAN.
• Hands‑on experience with Python and Ansible automation, as well as third‑party security platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper).
• Proven ability to consult with customers, lead technical teams and manage complex stakeholder engagements.
