Neuro Physiologist – Clinical Neurophysiology Specialist

About the role

The Neuro Physiologist will assess, diagnose, and monitor neurological disorders by studying the electrical activity of the nervous system. Working in a hospital, surgical or research lab setting, you will use specialized neurophysiological tests to support patient care and clinical decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Perform neurophysiological tests such as EEG, EMG, Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) and Evoked Potentials.
• Interpret test results and provide diagnostic insights to neurologists, surgeons and anesthesiologists.
• Monitor neural function intra‑operatively during surgeries.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
• Educate patients and families about neurophysiological conditions and treatment options.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case reviews and research initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD or MD in Neurophysiology or a related field.
• Certification such as ABCN or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s and Master’s in neuroscience or related discipline.
• Completion of a fellowship or specialized training in neurophysiology.
• 1–2 years of clinical or research experience preferred.
