New Energy Business Specialist – Solar PV & Storage

About the role

Puneng Group is expanding its new‑energy portfolio across the Middle East. We are looking for a proactive Business Specialist to develop commercial and industrial (C&I) solar PV, energy‑storage and micro‑grid projects in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients such as industrial parks, factories, commercial complexes, schools and hospitals.
• Assess rooftop resources and new‑energy investment needs, conduct site visits and negotiate contracts.
• Organise site surveys, gather project data and coordinate with technical teams on solution design and feasibility.
• Work with design, procurement, engineering and other departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, grid operators, design institutes and key partners.
• Monitor industry policies, market trends and competition to shape regional market development plans.
• Achieve sales, contracting and collection targets set by the company.

Required profile

• Associate degree or higher, preferably in Marketing, Electrical Engineering, New Energy, Power Systems or International Trade.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience; experience in solar PV, power, energy storage or engineering projects is a plus.
• Strong goal orientation, self‑motivation and ability to work under sales pressure with frequent travel.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Fundamental knowledge of solar PV system principles.
• Understanding of key PV equipment (modules, inverters, mounting structures).
• Familiarity with PV project development processes (permitting, grid connection, acceptance).
• Ability to prepare and deliver basic technical solution presentations.
