Off-Cycle Banking Internship 2027 - Investment Banking, Dubai

About the role

Barclays is recruiting an Off-Cycle Intern for its Investment Banking division in Dubai, running for 3 to 6 months. The internship gives candidates the chance to work like a full-time analyst, with longer exposure to projects than a summer internship, and to take part in live deals, client pitches and the day-to-day work of the team.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on live deals and client pitches, advising a broad range of corporate clients and supporting business initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Take part in training and development programmes.
• Identify opportunities, develop business cases and help launch new products and services.
• Manage client relationships and provide customer service support, answering questions about products and services and processing transactions under steadily decreasing supervision.
• Develop and implement financial models and strategies that support investment banking decisions.

Required profile

• Penultimate or final year of a degree, in any discipline.
• Fluent English; Arabic is desirable.
• Interest in business and finance, curiosity to learn, and a keenness for teamwork, resourcefulness and an entrepreneurial spirit.
