Officer, School Outreach and Al‑Ibtikar Programmes

About the role

The Officer will plan, coordinate and deliver school‑facing STEM outreach and Al‑Ibtikar programmes across the UAE. This includes bootcamps, mentorship cohorts, laboratory activities, competitions, teacher workshops and campus visits.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement outreach programmes, managing applications, attendance, transport and certification.
• Coordinate with schools, teachers, STEM coordinators, students, parents and internal faculty.
• Recruit, train and supervise mentors, volunteers and facilitators.
• Handle facilities, equipment, catering, IT and transport logistics.
• Manage vendors, quotations, procurement, invoices and programme budgets.
• Maintain CRM records, prepare participation and outcome reports, and evaluate impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Education, Communications or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in STEM outreach, school engagement or youth programme management in the UAE.
• Understanding of safeguarding and duty‑of‑care requirements for minors.
• Excellent English communication; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel across the UAE and work occasional evenings/weekends.
