Offshore Construction Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Reviews and executes mobilization plan.
• Compiles project documentation and work packages.
• Coordinates activities between departments, client and subcontractors.
• Manages material control, expediting and delivery of offshore materials.
• Executes specialized offshore construction activities and ensures compliance with HSE standards.
• Liaises with marine warranty surveyors and third‑party agencies on offshore execution issues.
• Prepares and contributes to weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Attends meetings with client, OCM, OOD and other stakeholders to discuss progress and concerns.
• Initiates variation orders/claims related to offshore work and compiles technical input for duration assignments.
• Trains and oversees junior engineers and coordinates with the Engineering Department.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in offshore construction.
• Fluent English with strong report‑writing ability.
• Natural decision‑maker with good communication skills.
• Willingness to work both onshore and offshore.
• Knowledge of personnel, equipment and thorough understanding of offshore operations.
