Offshore Rigger – Ad Hoc

About the role

EnerMech is seeking an experienced offshore Rigger to support deck operations on client platforms in Abu Dhabi. The role involves safe execution of crane lifts, rigging duties and supporting fire standby tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all lifts onshore or offshore as directed, including banking and signalman duties.
• Attach and detach loads, select appropriate lifting arrangements and verify equipment condition and certification.
• Control loads using tag lines, assess weight, centre of gravity and clearances.
• Participate in planning, risk assessments and documentation for routine and non‑routine crane‑lifting operations.
• Inspect, maintain and carry out minor repairs on loose lifting equipment and assist with bi‑annual re‑certification campaigns.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years offshore rigging experience and at least 21 years of age.
• Higher secondary school certificate or equivalent.
• Fluent in English, trained and assessed every 2 years by company‑approved assessors.
• Preferred ADNOC TPA Level 3 rigging, banksman/signaler and overhead crane operator competencies.
