Oilfield Operator – Chemical Injection

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Oilfield Operator specialized in chemical injection to support the safe and efficient operation of our new polymer manufacturing plant in Sohar. Reporting to the Projects Manager, you will work on‑site in Dubai, providing frontline technical support for oilfield facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily chemical injection activities following approved procedures.
• Handle chemical storage, loading and transportation in compliance with HSE standards.
• Operate, monitor and safeguard chemical mixing and injection systems, adjusting dosing rates, pressure and flow as required.
• Perform QA/QC measurements, record dosage, pressure and flow data, and prepare daily/weekly operational reports.
• Conduct routine inspections, basic maintenance and minor repairs of injection equipment.
• Identify equipment malfunctions and coordinate maintenance support.
• Communicate with operators, subcontractors and project teams to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Participate in daily and weekly operations meetings.

Required profile

• Proven oilfield operator experience, preferably 5 + years.
• Experience with surface oil and gas facilities, pressurized systems and rotating equipment.
• Strong understanding of chemical properties, applications and associated hazards.
• Commitment to HSE regulations and Life‑Saving Rules.
