Online and Cycle Scheduling Specialist

About the role

Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation is looking for an Online and Cycle Scheduling Specialist to schedule maintenance activities at the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant using the work week process. The role ensures that plant equipment and systems operate safely and reliably in line with design requirements and technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Support the outage and emergency response organization as assigned, which may include shift work or off-hours support.
• Follow HSE, security and business continuity policies, and contribute to the development of UAE nationals in line with the Emiratization strategy.
• Develop the cycle schedule from the Head of Cycle's input, assigning preventive maintenance, pre-outage work and modifications to the right work weeks.
• Create the master quarterly schedule, cycle plan, work order inventories and major plant events such as outage-to-online transitions and FANR/WANO events.
• Develop work week schedules in P6 for online work windows, keeping them accurate and coordinated with maintenance planners.
• Review data integrity in planning systems (coding, calendars, WBS, task descriptions, schedules in P6 and SAP).
• Gather actual progress from the Operations Management System and field walk-downs, list risks in the schedule and help prepare risk reports.
• Ensure resources such as spare parts, tools, equipment and manpower are available, and create work week T-Meeting documents.
• Collect stakeholder feedback, track KPIs and distribute routine work management and schedule reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of which 3 are in a PWR nuclear power plant at an operational site or in advanced designs (APR-1400, OPR-1000, CE NSSS), or in work management, outage management or design.
