OpenBlue Customer Advisor

About the role

OpenBlue is Johnson Controls’ AI‑enabled suite of smart‑building software that drives energy efficiency, equipment uptime and workplace productivity. We are looking for an OpenBlue Customer Advisor to partner with customers, deliver value throughout the lifecycle and act as a trusted consultant.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of customer value for OpenBlue solutions, from onboarding and training to adoption and growth.
• Conduct kick‑off calls, guide customers through product tours, and establish 30‑60‑90 day check‑ins to monitor usage and address issues.
• Serve as the voice of the customer in Quarterly Business Reviews, NPS surveys and feedback loops to product and commercial teams.
• Identify expansion opportunities, secure references and drive new business growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of recent experience in HVAC, building automation, energy‑management or facility‑management services.
• Hands‑on experience with installation, deployment or operation of Operational Technologies (OT) in medium‑to‑large facilities.
• Proven record in customer relationship management with enterprise accounts, supported by strong references.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organized project‑management skills and ability to lead across matrixed teams.
