Operation Manager - F&B

About the role

Careers International is recruiting an Operation Manager for its F&B business in Dubai. The role advises on restaurant locations, supports the Founder & CEO and Managing Director in setting up new outlets, manages the financial results of the units and enforces brand and hygiene standards across the restaurants.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on restaurant locations, support the setting up of new outlets and help implement new ideas and strategies
• Analyse and manage financial results, prepare forecasts and reach revenue targets for each outlet
• Review the product range, maintain quality standards and enforce brand standards
• Inspect restaurants regularly, including rotation, preparation, distribution and bookkeeping, and ensure compliance with company standards, local laws and ordinances
• Monitor invoices, cash flow and expenditure, analyse stock and sales, and develop the annual financial plan
• Manage people: assign work, partner with HR on recruitment, champion training and succession planning, coach and counsel staff, and run hiring, training, performance reviews, discipline and incentive programmes
• Maintain links with suppliers and contractors, negotiate with them and monitor their performance
• Help the Area Manager develop and monitor annual KPIs for restaurant managers

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in food and beverage, hotel or restaurant management (preferred)
• At least 5-7 years of premium restaurant operations management experience, ideally from a fast-food restaurant, or 2-3 years of multi-store management (cluster or area manager)
• At least 3 years of UAE experience
• UAE driving licence (mandatory)
