Operational & Financial Auditor – Corporate Services

About the role

The Operational & Financial Auditor will conduct internal audits across Al-Futtaim’s business processes in Dubai, ensuring robust internal controls, compliance with group policies, and protection of assets. This independent function supports management by providing insight and recommendations to achieve business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Audit Manager in developing the annual audit plan based on risk assessments.
• Design and execute audit programs, documenting risks, controls and test procedures in the Audit Management System.
• Perform operational and financial audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with delegations of authority.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and executive summaries, communicating findings and recommendations clearly.
• Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation.
• Utilise computer‑assisted audit tools such as ACL to extend audit coverage.
• Conduct fraud investigations and special consulting assignments as required.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIA, CFA) or MBA in Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in internal audit functions.
• Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards and internal controls.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with data‑analytics audit software, specifically ACL.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and stakeholder interaction.
