Operational Risk Analyst – Emiratisation (UAE Nationals)

About the role

Rakbank is committed to developing Emirati talent and supporting the UAE's Emiratisation vision. The Business Banking team is looking for motivated UAE Nationals to join as an Operational Risk Analyst, gaining exposure to risk management, governance, process improvement and operational controls.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of operational risk management frameworks and tools across Business Banking.
• Facilitate Risk and Control Self‑Assessments (RCSA) to identify and assess operational risks and control effectiveness.
• Conduct control testing, identify gaps in processes, systems, training and compliance, and ensure timely remediation.
• Monitor and report Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), highlighting emerging risks and trends.
• Investigate, track and support the resolution of operational risk incidents.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, risk updates and governance presentations.
• Review business processes and customer journeys to identify opportunities for enhanced controls, operational efficiency and improved customer experience.
• Partner with stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Credit, Operations, Treasury and Business Banking to strengthen governance and risk management practices.

Required profile

• UAE National (Family Book required).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in banking, financial services, risk management, operations, business analysis or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Data analysis capability.
