Operations Associate – Logistics & Supply Chain

About the role

Czarnikow is seeking a detail‑oriented Operations Associate to manage the end‑to‑end execution of shipments across its global supply chain. You will own assigned shipments from contract signature through final delivery, ensuring smooth coordination, accurate documentation, and compliance with contractual terms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage shipments end‑to‑end, guaranteeing timely and accurate execution.
• Monitor shipment status, proactively follow up on all activities, and coordinate break‑bulk, containerized, and trucking movements.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, including Incoterms, and handle shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
• Maintain real‑time updates in internal systems and liaise with service providers (shipping lines, warehouses, transporters).
• Communicate clearly with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, and support transaction processes including letters of credit where applicable.
• Escalate issues or delays promptly and keep stakeholders informed.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in logistics, operations, or supply‑chain management.
• Strong ownership, high attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
• Proactive mindset with disciplined follow‑up and the ability to work under pressure.
• Clear, professional communication and sound judgment for issue escalation.

Required skills

• Experience with break‑bulk, containerized, and trucking shipments.
• Strong knowledge of shipping documentation (bills of lading, invoices, packing lists).
• Good understanding of Incoterms and international trade flows.
• Familiarity with payment terms, including Letters of Credit.
