Operations Coordinator – Logistics

About the role

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a passionate and energetic Operations Coordinator to join its Operations Team in the United Arab Emirates. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth daily warehouse activities while upholding the company’s high standards for safety and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety standards and Behaviour‑Based Safety practices.
• Coordinate daily inbound, picking and outbound activities to meet service level agreements.
• Allocate tasks based on resource planning and promptly escalate any constraints or deviations.
• Track team performance against KPIs such as productivity, quality, attendance and overtime.
• Support shift handovers and take part in Tier 1 / Tier 2 performance discussions.
• Maintain compliance with work instructions, standards and process confirmations.
• Assist with training, onboarding and Excellence School initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement, performance reviews and recognition activities.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory and company policies.
• Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers as required.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in warehousing or logistics operations.
• Intermediate education level; various MHE licences are an advantage.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work across shifts and manage operational priorities.
