Operations Director

About the role

The Operations Director leads the strategic direction and overall performance of the cluster clinics, ensuring efficient, safe and profitable hospital operations while delivering high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to drive hospital performance, growth and EBITDA targets.
• Oversee all operational functions including clinical services, finance, HR, procurement, support services and administration.
• Monitor and improve KPIs, patient satisfaction, service delivery standards and regulatory compliance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost optimisation and financial reporting.
• Recruit, onboard, train and retain competent staff across functions and foster a high‑performance culture.
• Manage risks, resolve complex operational issues and ensure health‑safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, medical staff and corporate functions to meet clinical and business goals.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration or related field.
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in healthcare operations, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong commercial awareness, understanding of UAE healthcare regulations and revenue cycle management.
• Proven ability to drive financial performance, cost optimisation and strategic initiatives.
