Operations In-Charge – Cabins

About the role

The Operations In‑Charge – Cabins leads end‑to‑end management of portable cabins across multiple project sites. You will ensure cabins are deployed, maintained, and returned safely while optimizing asset utilization and service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and oversee deployment of portable cabins to project sites based on operational needs.
• Supervise installation, commissioning, and dismantling of cabins on‑site.
• Ensure cabins remain functional, safe, and compliant throughout their operational period.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance during the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with logistics, yard, and site teams for timely mobilisation and demobilisation.
• Monitor project timelines, resource utilisation, and operational efficiency.
• Allocate and supervise blue‑collar workforce including technicians, helpers, and drivers.
• Track asset movement, condition, and availability across sites and yard.
• Oversee return, inspection, repair, and storage of cabins post‑project.
• Maintain yard discipline, safe storage, and asset preservation during off‑season.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, logistics, maintenance) for smooth operations.
• Address client/site issues, ensure service quality, and resolve matters promptly.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement cost‑optimisation improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in site operations, rental, construction, or facilities management.
• Experience handling portable cabins or modular units preferred.
• Strong background supervising blue‑collar workforces.
• UAE experience is a plus.
• Experience in writing business plans and company strategies.

Required skills

• Basic technical understanding of portable cabins and site utilities.
