Operations Manager - Cleaning Services

About the role

Gleamify is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of its cleaning company, serving both residential (B2C) and commercial (B2B) clients. The role suits someone with a strong background in housekeeping and cleaning operations, team leadership and business growth, and calls for a hands-on leader who optimizes workflows and maintains high service standards. The position reports to the General Manager and is based in Al Qouz.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning operations, develop SOPs for residential and commercial services, manage scheduling, dispatching and workforce allocation, run quality inspections and monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Recruit, train and supervise cleaning staff, foster a positive work environment and coach employees on performance issues.
• Train staff on best practices, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations and handle escalated client complaints.
• Support business growth by identifying new B2B and B2C opportunities, retain key clients, support marketing, promotions and referrals, and analyze market trends and competitors.
• Track operational expenses, maintain client contracts, service agreements and employee records, and prepare reports on performance, client feedback and growth metrics.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in cleaning, facility management or housekeeping services.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Experience in business development, sales or account management is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals and equipment (residential and commercial).
• Scheduling software (Brillion) and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
