Operations Manager – Lubricant & Grease Manufacturing Plant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and coordinate all plant activities at a lubricant and grease manufacturing facility in Ras Al Khaimah. The role ensures smooth, safe and cost‑effective operations across procurement, warehousing, logistics, maintenance, utilities and HSE while collaborating closely with production, planning, quality, finance and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day plant operations and ensure operational readiness.
• Coordinate with Production and Planning to support manufacturing schedules.
• Manage procurement, supplier performance and material availability.
• Supervise stores, warehouse operations, inventory accuracy and SAP transactions.
• Handle logistics, export container bookings, dispatches and vessel schedules.
• Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance of plant equipment.
• Monitor utilities, infrastructure and energy consumption.
• Work with HSE to maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
• Drive SAP Business One discipline and operational dashboards.
• Identify and implement cost‑reduction opportunities in procurement, inventory, logistics, maintenance and utilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
• 10–15+ years of manufacturing experience with proven plant‑operations leadership.
• Background in lubricants, grease, chemicals, petrochemicals or related process manufacturing preferred.
• Strong exposure to procurement, warehousing, logistics, maintenance, engineering and HSE functions.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One.
