About the role
The Operations Support Agent will provide essential support to FedEx's MERN network, handling daily operational tasks, managing exceptions, and ensuring compliance reporting. This role involves direct interaction with internal and external customers, offering technical advice and practical assistance on service and system issues.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor trucks at border checkpoints and manage clearance paperwork.
- Coordinate with clearance brokers to expedite truck movements.
- Communicate updates to drivers and log transit information.
- Report and analyse transit times, optimizing clearance processes.
- Escalate complex issues to senior management and produce regular reports.
- Ensure completion of defined processes within deadlines, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Required profile
- Fluent Arabic speaker (mandatory).
- Excellent networking, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC usage.
- Good planning, organising, and interpersonal skills.
