Storekeeper – Facility Management

About the role

The Storekeeper plays a critical role in ensuring smooth facility management operations through efficient inventory control, material availability, and proper storage practices. The role supports maintenance teams by providing the required materials, tools, and spare parts when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for materials, tools, consumables, and spare parts.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits and reconcile inventory.
• Receive, inspect and document incoming goods against purchase orders.
• Issue materials and spare parts against approved work orders.
• Implement FIFO/FEFO practices and ensure proper labeling and preservation.
• Prepare inventory reports, support audits and coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Finance and Maintenance.
• Support emergency requests, mobilization/demobilization activities and ensure HSE compliance.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in Facility Management, Maintenance or Construction.
• Strong organizational and record‑keeping abilities.
• Good knowledge of materials, spare parts and inventory processes.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet operational requirements.
• High School Certificate or Diploma; technical background preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in inventory systems, CMMS and ERP platforms.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
