Operations Technical Training Senior Coordinator

About the role

The Operations Technical Training Senior Coordinator will organise and deliver training programmes for staff, analyse training needs and close skills gaps, while ensuring quality, health, safety and environmental standards are met on the shop‑floor.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse training needs with department heads and develop individual training programmes.
• Plan, direct and deliver staff inductions, technical training and ongoing development activities.
• Maintain and update individual training records and create training materials.
• Perform inspection activities on incoming materials, in‑process work, final products and dispatch, ensuring 100% QA/QC compliance.
• Document inspection results, report non‑conformities and support corrective actions.
• Maintain measurement equipment, perform calibrations and ensure proper operation.
• Advise managers on industry standards to expedite fabrication while preserving quality.
• Participate in QA/QC meetings, prepare minutes and ensure internal audit readiness.

Required profile

• Proven experience in organising technical training and conducting inspections in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, health & safety regulations and environmental compliance.
• Ability to create training documentation, maintain records and mentor junior operators.
• Familiarity with emergency equipment, PPE requirements and incident reporting procedures.
