Operations Technician

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Technician to provide hands‑on technical support for live training events and virtual delivery platforms across the META region. Based in Dubai, you will ensure that event technology, AV equipment and network infrastructure run smoothly for both in‑person and online sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, configure and operate technology solutions for regional events.
• Install, test and maintain AV systems including projectors, microphones, displays and conferencing platforms such as Teams Rooms, Zoom and Webex.
• Configure and troubleshoot network equipment – routers, switches and Wi‑Fi – and resolve LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP and connectivity issues.
• Provide on‑site technical assistance during live training sessions.
• Deliver 1st and 2nd line IT support for hardware, software, Microsoft 365 and endpoint devices.
• Manage user administration, device provisioning, onboarding/off‑boarding and asset tracking.
• Handle incidents, service requests, coordinate with vendors and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting IT operations, infrastructure or event technology.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities across hardware, software, networks and AV systems.
• Excellent communication skills to assist both technical and non‑technical users.
