Operator - Granulation

About the role

The Granulation Operator will execute granulation processes for pharmaceutical products in a cGMP‑compliant environment at our Dubai Industrial City facility. Reporting to the Executive – Tablet and Liquid Manufacturing, you will ensure high‑quality output while adhering to UAE regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate high‑shear mixers, fluid‑bed dryers and mills according to production schedules and SOPs.
• Follow batch manufacturing records (BMR) precisely during all granulation steps.
• Maintain compliance with cGMP, WHO, US FDA, EMA and UAE Ministry of Health guidelines.
• Conduct in‑process checks on granule size, moisture content and blend uniformity.
• Work with QA to resolve deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Perform routine cleaning, setup and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Report equipment issues and assist engineering in troubleshooting.
• Keep accurate production logs, equipment usage records and BMRs.
• Support internal audit reporting and regulatory inspections.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste and enhance product quality.
• Assist with process validation and scale‑up activities.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in regular safety training.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in granulation within a cGMP‑regulated pharmaceutical plant.
