Oracle SCM Techno-Functional Consultant

About the role

ECS is hiring an Oracle SCM Techno-Functional Consultant for a full-time position based in Dubai, with a hybrid setup. The role covers analysis, design and testing of Oracle E-Business Suite applications, with strong knowledge of Oracle Distribution modules, and requires around 10-12 years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design and test Oracle E-Business Suite applications according to applicable standards, with strong knowledge of Oracle Distribution modules.
• Develop, enhance and maintain existing applications and troubleshoot day-to-day production issues.
• Work in teams and as an individual contributor, manage project components and support tickets of various priorities.
• Engage with business users to clarify needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Write technical specifications, gap analysis documents, test scripts and user training materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, information technology or computer applications.
• Proven techno-functional professional with at least one full lifecycle Oracle E-Business Suite R12 implementation or support.
• 8 to 12 years of technical experience in one or more distribution modules such as Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Shipping, Pricing and WMS.
• Working knowledge of the Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes; implementation experience in distribution modules is highly preferable.
• Clear written and verbal communication, able to write requirements and test plans.
• Good knowledge of functional and technical aspects, preferably a techno-functional candidate with multi-organization and multi-set of books experience.

Required skills

• Strong SQL, PL/SQL and XML Publisher; working knowledge of OAF preferred.
• Well-versed development in all RICEW components (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, workflows).
• Plus: iSupplier, iProcurement and EDI; legacy data conversion and third-party integrations.
