Oral Dental Surgeon

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is looking for an experienced Oral Dental Surgeon to provide comprehensive dental and oral surgical care. The ideal candidate diagnoses and treats oral conditions, performs dental surgical procedures and manages patients needing specialized oral healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose and manage patients with oral and dental conditions requiring surgical intervention
• Perform minor and major oral surgical procedures, as appropriate to clinical expertise
• Manage impacted teeth, complicated extractions, oral infections, cysts and other oral surgical conditions
• Perform surgical extractions and other dentoalveolar procedures
• Assess patients and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Manage preoperative and postoperative care, including pain management and follow-up
• Identify and manage surgical complications and dental emergencies
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Coordinate with other dental specialists and healthcare professionals when required

Required profile

• BDS or equivalent internationally recognized primary dental qualification
• Master's degree, postgraduate specialist qualification, fellowship or equivalent internationally recognized qualification in Oral Surgery or a related dental specialty
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred
• Proven experience in oral surgical procedures and complex dental extractions
