Order Taker - In Room Dining

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, attentive, and service‑oriented Order Taker – In‑Room Dining to join our Food & Beverage team at NH Collection Dubai The Palm. As an In‑Room Dining Order Taker, you will be responsible for receiving and processing guest orders accurately and efficiently while providing warm and professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Answer In‑Room Dining telephone calls promptly, professionally, and courteously.
• Take guest food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of menus, ingredients, promotions and operating hours.
• Identify and communicate guest dietary requirements, allergies and special requests to the Kitchen.
• Promote menu items and apply upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and revenue.
• Coordinate closely with the Kitchen and service team to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
• Process guest bills and charges accurately in accordance with hotel procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Food & Beverage, In‑Room Dining, Room Service or a similar hospitality role (preferred).
• Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
• Strong guest‑service orientation with a friendly and professional approach.
• Good knowledge of Food & Beverage products and service standards.
• Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to take and process orders accurately.
• Good organizational and multitasking skills.
