Order Taker – In‑Room Dining

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and service‑oriented Order Taker for In‑Room Dining at NH Collection Dubai The Palm. You will receive and process guest orders accurately while providing warm, professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Answer In‑Room Dining telephone calls promptly and courteously.
• Take guest food and beverage orders, enter them into the POS system, and confirm details with guests.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of menus, ingredients, promotions, and operating hours.
• Identify dietary requirements, allergies, and special requests and communicate them to the kitchen.
• Promote menu items and apply upselling techniques.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
• Monitor pending orders, follow up to avoid delays, and handle guest inquiries and feedback.
• Process guest bills accurately and maintain accurate records of orders and requests.
• Ensure a clean, organized work area and adhere to food safety, hygiene, and hotel policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Food & Beverage, In‑Room Dining, Room Service, or similar hospitality role preferred.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
• Strong guest‑service orientation with a friendly, professional approach.
• Good knowledge of Food & Beverage products and service standards.
• Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Required skills
