Organizational Development Specialist

About the role

Air Arabia Group is looking for an Organizational Development Specialist in Sharjah, UAE. The role supports the design, delivery and implementation of organizational development and HR initiatives across all hubs and subsidiaries, ensuring they are standardized and aligned with business goals. It also contributes to policy development, capability building, talent and leadership development, performance management, job analysis, career path mapping and succession planning.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the line manager to recommend and run structured change management initiatives that standardize HR practice across hubs and subsidiaries.
• Help develop OD frameworks, policies and tools for enterprise-wide capability building, leadership and high-potential development, and long-term talent planning.
• Work with the HR team to strengthen, develop and enforce HR policies and procedures, and advise line managers; help maintain policies that are compliant and fit business needs and employee experience.
• Introduce the Performance Management System and assessments as part of the new joiner orientation, and support its implementation and improvement across hubs, including analysis of performance data and promotion of continuous feedback.
• Support hubs in the performance management process and help implement systems for job creation, job evaluation, organizational structure design and organizational change.
• Maintain an up-to-date job description library and partner with line managers on career path mapping and development plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on succession planning and talent development.
• Design and deliver workshops and training on organizational development and HR topics, and carry out HR system tasks and project work.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor's degree in HR, human sciences, management or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• MBA, CIPD or other HR professional qualifications are an advantage.
• 4+ years as an organizational development specialist with similar responsibilities, preferably in aviation or hospitality, and 8+ years of overall HR experience.
• In-depth knowledge of HR functions and processes, and experience implementing performance management and analyzing performance data.
