OTA Product Manager (Flight Booking)

About the role

Akbar Travels, a global travel management company with more than 200 offices worldwide, is looking for an experienced B2C OTA Product Manager to manage and improve its online travel booking platforms, including websites and mobile apps. The ideal candidate has strong experience in flight booking products, travel technology, UI/UX and conversion optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the B2C website and mobile app product roadmap, development and continuous improvement.
• Optimise the end-to-end flight booking journey, from search and availability to payment and post-booking services.
• Improve user experience, booking conversion, customer engagement and retention.
• Work with technology teams on product enhancements, API integrations and feature delivery.
• Analyse customer behaviour, booking funnels, competitor platforms and product performance.
• Collaborate with commercial, marketing and operations teams to drive revenue and profitability.
• Identify opportunities for AI, automation, personalisation and customer self-service.

Required profile

• 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably with an established B2C OTA.
• Hands-on flight OTA product management experience is mandatory.
• Experience managing consumer websites and mobile applications.
• Ideal candidate: a commercially driven product professional who understands the technical and operational side of an online flight booking platform.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of GDS, NDC, LCC APIs, airline fares and booking workflows.
• UI/UX, conversion optimisation, analytics and agile product development.
• Commercial acumen, analytical thinking and stakeholder management.
