Painter and Polisher

About the role

The Painter and Polisher will be responsible for applying and maintaining high‑quality finishes on walls, ceilings, furniture and other surfaces within Marriott hotel properties. This role ensures that all painted areas meet the brand’s aesthetic standards while adhering to safety and environmental guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Apply paint, stain, primers and sealers using brushes, spray guns or rollers, and prepare surfaces by stripping, sanding, wire‑brushing or abrasive blasting.
• Cover and protect surfaces during work, post appropriate paint signage, and clean and store tools and equipment after use.
• Coordinate with vendors to modify colors of paint, stain or varnish as required.
• Follow all company safety, security and confidentiality policies, reporting hazards or incidents promptly.
• Assist guests according to Marriott standards, including welcoming, addressing service needs and supporting individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• At least 1 year of related painting or finishing experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
