Painter – Engineering (Hospitality)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Painter (Engineering) to join our hotel property in Dubai. The role involves preparing and finishing walls, ceilings and furniture to maintain the brand’s colour standards across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, putty and other finishes to walls, ceilings and furniture using brushes, rollers or spray guns.
• Prepare surfaces by applying primers, sealers and performing stripping, sanding, wire‑brushing or abrasive blasting.
• Work with gypsum board, including cutting and new installations.
• Cover surfaces for protection, label painted areas and ensure clean‑up and proper storage of tools.
• Coordinate with vendors on colour modifications and follow safety procedures, PPE usage and reporting protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of painting experience in the UAE hospitality sector.
• Hands‑on, can‑do work style with ability to take ownership of tasks.
• Strong personal integrity and solution‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Painting and surface finishing.
• Spray gun, brush and roller operation.
• Primer and sealer application.
• Stripping, sanding and abrasive blasting techniques.
