Painter Polisher

About the role

As a Painter/Polisher at Waldorf Astoria Kuwait, you will ensure that guest rooms and public areas maintain a pristine, welcoming appearance. Working within the hotel’s facilities team, you will apply high‑quality finishes that reflect the brand’s standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces and apply paints, stains, varnishes or lacquers to achieve flawless finishes in rooms and common areas.
• Install and repair wall and ceiling coverings, including vinyl, fabric and foil, and maintain caulked, grouted, wooden and masonry surfaces.
• Polish surfaces to meet visual and durability standards within established timelines.
• Maintain and clean all painting tools, equipment and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Monitor inventory of paints, solvents and related supplies, storing them safely and ordering as needed.
