Part-Time Entrepreneurship Faculty (Spring Semester)

About the role

Canadian University Dubai is hiring qualified part‑time faculty members to teach Entrepreneurship courses for the Spring Semester 2026‑2027, beginning 11 January 2027. The role involves delivering high‑quality instruction, maintaining academic standards, and supporting curriculum development in line with university and UAE Ministry of Higher Education requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned Entrepreneurship courses (up to 6 credit hours per semester, equivalent to two courses) and maintain accurate student records.
• Submit grades to the Registry at mid‑term and final periods.
• Prepare, revise, and file lesson plans within one week of the semester start and deliver updated course syllabi using the official template.
• Recommend learning resources and course materials to enhance student learning.
• Assist in curriculum review, improvement, and development of new courses as needed.
• Supervise independent studies where applicable.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert, supporting the Department Head and Program Chair to ensure alignment with accreditation requirements.
• Report equipment and resource needs promptly and attend faculty or departmental meetings when requested.
• Participate in orientation sessions, professional development workshops, and community‑engagement initiatives.
• Support accreditation and quality‑assurance activities and represent the university in professional forums.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated record of effective teaching and research publications in Scopus‑indexed journals.
• Preference for candidates with Canadian academic affiliation or professional linkage to Canada/North America.
• Availability for scheduled class hours, limited office hours for student support, and attendance at designated faculty/department meetings.
