Pastry Chef – Pastry Shop

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton Dubai is seeking a creative Pastry Chef to lead its pastry shop. You will combine hands‑on baking and decorating expertise with team leadership to deliver high‑quality pastries across all service areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train and supervise the pastry team, ensuring consistent product quality and adherence to standards.
• Prepare and decorate pastries personally during shifts while managing day‑to‑day operations.
• Maintain sanitation, food safety, and proper storage procedures.
• Control inventory, purchasing, receiving, and waste to stay within budget.
• Develop new pastry concepts and continuously improve guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of culinary experience, or a 2‑year degree in Culinary Arts/Hotel Management with 2 years of experience.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
