About the role
The Ritz‑Carlton Dubai is seeking a motivated Pastry Commis II to join its Food & Beverage team. This full‑time position supports the pastry kitchen by preparing high‑quality baked goods and ensuring consistent presentation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
- Portion, chop, store and organise ingredients for cooking.
- Safely operate baking, measuring tools and kitchen appliances.
- Follow food‑safety handling policies and personal hygiene procedures.
- Check and maintain correct temperatures of appliances and food, reporting any issues.
- Wash, disinfect and set‑up/break‑down the kitchen work station.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of related pastry or kitchen experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification required.
Required skills
- Baking equipment operation and measurement.
- Food safety compliance and hygiene practices.
