About the role

The Patient Affairs Specialist is the first point of contact for patients at Metabolic, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from registration through checkout. This front‑desk role blends patient interaction with administrative coordination to support Metabolic’s patient‑centric mission.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, register new and existing clients, verify insurance eligibility, and collect required documents.
• Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and follow‑ups, while guiding patients through consultations, diagnostics, pharmacy, and billing.
• Address inquiries via phone, email, and in‑person with empathy, handle complaints, and escalate issues when needed.
• Maintain front‑desk operations, ensure compliance with DHA regulations and data‑privacy policies, and coordinate with clinical, pharmacy, and billing teams.
• Support patient‑engagement initiatives, participate in training, and assist with quality‑improvement and accreditation processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years UAE experience in front‑desk, patient affairs, or healthcare customer service.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare insurance processes and DHA standards.
• Excellent English communication; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with healthcare management or CRM systems.
