Paymaster & General Cashier

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient General Cashier / Paymaster to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You will manage cash transactions, maintain financial records, and ensure accurate payroll processing for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Handle cash transactions, receive payments, issue receipts and manage petty cash.
• Process employee payroll accurately and on time.
• Maintain detailed financial records and reconcile accounts daily.
• Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash registers with precision.
• Prepare and submit regular financial reports to management.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Implement and maintain cash control procedures to prevent loss and fraud.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar cashier or paymaster role.
• Proven experience in cash handling and financial record‑keeping.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with the Oasys System.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
