Payroll Associate – CRO

About the role

The Payroll Associate – CRO will support ADIB’s retail banking operations in Abu Dhabi, ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with UAE banking regulations. This role is open to fresh graduate UAE nationals and focuses on delivering quality service to staff while maintaining operational controls.

Key responsibilities

• Handle staff account inquiries, opening and closing accounts, and ensure KYC compliance.
• Process finance and covered‑card inquiries, maintain customer files, prepare finance applications and obtain approvals.
• Enter payroll transactions, including regular and overtime payments.
• Prepare payment memos, invoices, and advance leave salary reports.
• Assist in the preparation of journal vouchers, general‑ledger entries, and related financial reports.
• Support internal audit and ICD comment responses related to financial products and staff services.
• Ensure adherence to ADIB policies, operational controls, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate UAE national.
• Broad knowledge of ADIB’s retail banking products and services.
• Thorough understanding of ADIB’s retail credit and operational policies and procedures.
• Good knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations, and Central Bank of UAE requirements.
• Ability to coordinate training and appraisal for subordinates.
