Payroll Associate - CRO

About the role

The Payroll Associate – CRO will support ADIB Group’s retail banking operations in Abu Dhabi by ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for staff. The role combines transactional payroll duties with compliance and continuous‑improvement responsibilities, projecting a warm image of the bank while maintaining operational controls.

Key responsibilities

• Enter payroll and overtime transactions, prepare payment memos and invoices.
• Handle staff account inquiries, open/close accounts, and ensure KYC compliance.
• Process finance account documentation, prepare applications, and maintain customer files.
• Assist in preparation of journal vouchers, general ledger entries, and advance leave salary reports.
• Support internal audit and ICD comment responses related to financial products and staff services.
• Recommend workflow improvements to the branch manager at least once a year.

Required profile

• Broad knowledge of ADIB’s retail banking products and services.
• Thorough understanding of UAE banking regulations, Central Bank directives, and operational policies.
• Familiarity with service standards, competitor landscape, and retail credit procedures.
• Experience in staff management, training planning, and performance appraisal.
