Payroll Specialist – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining strict confidentiality of employee and financial data.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule according to established timelines.
• Review and verify employee time records, overtime, bonuses, deductions and other payroll inputs.
• Calculate wages, taxes, benefits and other payroll adjustments.
• Maintain up‑to‑date employee payroll records and process new hires, terminations, promotions and salary changes.
• Enter payroll data correctly into payroll and HR systems and reconcile payroll reports.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions and benefits.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance and other internal teams to resolve payroll issues.
• Prepare payroll reports, summaries and supporting documentation.
• Assist with payroll tax filings, payments and compliance requirements.
• Support payroll audits by providing requested reports and documentation.
• Monitor payroll deadlines and ensure all required activities are completed on time.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, accuracy and efficiency.
